1913 Emerson 3 Serial # 10942 1913 Emerson 3 typewriter, Serial # 10942 Tyler Anderson's 1913 Emerson 3 typewriter. 2016-07-27 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Tyler Anderson: 1913 Emerson 3 Serial # 10942 This Emerson was originally from Idaho Falls, where it was used in the early 1900's industry that was located there at the time. It has now taken a short hop up north, to be fully restored. I've been wanting an Emerson for quite some time, and am thrilled to finally have one.

The main issue is that it's rusted to hell and back. Even the serial number plaque was messed up, so I'll have to dig out the number from under the corrosion. I saw a 1, though, and it appears to be a later model, so I figure its past the 10,000 mark at that point.

I have a special place in my heart for 3 bank machines.
