Lacks the paper table (which I've discovered is not a very uncommon issue concerning early typewriters) and the front frame decal. It just shows the curved "Monarch Visible" name below the type basket and in the back the legend show it was make by "The Monarch Typewriter Company. New York. N.Y. U.S.A.".
The ribbon color change device shows a little window uncommon in Monarch Visibles # 3, and the serial number (65583) could show it is a # 3 and not a # 2.
Looking at Davis Typewriter Works blogspot (http://davistypewriters.blogspot.com.ar) I could see their Monarch Visible No. 2, serial 66988 built 1912. Hence my Monarch Visible is possibly a # 2.
With a new ribbon and a tenacious cleaning job, I promise better pics next week and a typeface specimen (the typewriter is complete and every part of it moves as expected).
