What I did so far:

- cleaned and oiled the mechanism because everything was stuck
- put a shrink tube on the platen
- new Casio ink roller
- tried 3 different inks.
Fountain pen ink is too liquid, Pelikan ink for stamps is better, but
right now I get the best results with ink for Linocuts. This ink is not liquid at all.
But there is still room for improvement.
Suggestions to improve the quality of the imprint are appreciated...

This was written with the ink for Linocuts. Clearly visible, but not as even as the text with the stamp ink.

This was written with the Pelikan stamp ink. It looks clean but is barely visible (compared to a text written with an ordinary ribbon)
