Description:
This was an unbelievable flea market find! Spotted at a distance and at first thought it was a Blickensderfer! When I saw what it REALLY was, I couldnāt believe it!
It has a velvet lined case complete with handle, a operating manual, a price list, and some newspaper clippings about typewriters.
It was completely locked up and I was concerned, if I bought it, whether or not I could get it working. But once it was home, I coaxed the type wheel into motion and after some cleaning and lubrication, it works really well!
As Iāve read, the similarities between Blickensderfer and Hammond, are really interesting. I will say, in my opinion, there are good things about this combination.
Pictures and type sample to follow.

I started collecting typewriters several years ago and it started with a late 1960s Smith-Corona Sterling portable that I got as a gift.
