Description:
Sometimes one gets surprised with Lamberts.
Despite the serial number (over ten thousand) this is not a Lambert # 3 (look at the embossed Lambert logo). It is not a Lambert # 1 (you can not turn the letters disc to write in italics). Hence, you'll conclude it is a Lambert # 2.
Of course, as I always do, I rely in real experts advice to rectify the above information.
The box is complete, with ink pad in its cardboard box, oiler and screwdriver.
If this typewriter were a dream car, it would be a yellow Lamborghini spider, ready to show off at South Beach streets at saturday night. Just put it over a shelf in your lobby, and wait the people's reaction.
(first question on an 80/100 poll: Hey dude, where did you get that telephone?)

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Lambert 2 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Lambert Serial Number page and the Lambert 2 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
