Wow... not the type of typewriter I usually buy. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this sitting in the sun in an antique market. The dealer must have had it a while, because it didn't take long to negotiate the $400 asking price to $250, which I took. Good deal?
It really wants to work but still needs a little help advancing. Aside from that, there is a lot of general rust and the arm cast on the carriage end that holds the carriage return and carriage release has snapped. Paint is in decent shape.
It's a genius and simple design that deserved better success than it got. The double keyboard probably didn't encourage buyers much...
