Description:
Preparations are currently underway for the private cataloging of a specimen that serves as a testament to the early development phase of the Orga A38 model. The machine presented here originates from the verification series (the so-called "zero series"), as confirmed by unique structural features not found in later mass-produced models.
Analysis of Typeface Anomalies
A key element of this documentation is the analysis of the typeface. In contrast to the standard models and the Privat version, where the numbering of the type slugs maintains a strict and repeatable sequence, my specimen exhibits distinct deviations:
Numbering Error: This A38 model features a unique sequence disruption that does not appear in any other known variant of this machine.
Manufacturing Specifics: The analysis points to errors in the markings and traces of individual part-fitting, which is characteristic of the prototype phase.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Orga Standard 1 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Orga Serial Number page and the Orga Standard 1 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
