Description:
Worked on March 2021. Cleaned and new feet put on. Original platen and rollers. No backspace key, tab works in combination with the carriage release key. Period is uppercase and / is lowercase on that key. Keys were not thoroughly cleaned because I lacked a ring puller tool and I didnāt want to damage the rings or glass. Right carriage knob was missing. And replaced with one from a 1930 number 5.
This belongs to a friend and has a home in LaFarge Wisconsin.

I have a passion for analog methods of putting words on paper. I own a letterpress shop that helps to fill this desire, but found typewriters also have a role in producing written materials with a value-added dimension. I'm drawn to working typewriters and renovate them as I am able. I'm pretty handy with things mechanical. Overall, I feel more like an enthusiast with a collection that will get used by design. I understand the temptation to buy them all, but I don't have a store to sell them in. I'm also no expert in repair, so it's a matter of finding the best typefaces and typing feel that helps me to get words on paper. Type on!
