Description:
for the # 350 in my typewriter's gallery I've selected an interesting typewriter I've trying hard to catch in Buenos Aires city for several years: An Ideal A3, from the german sewing machine Seidel & Neumann company, with decimal tabulator.
It is near complete (lacks the case and the wooden spacebar, now fitted, was broken) but in need of a little TLC. The drawstring is broken too, so I can not bring a typeface specimen sample.
Just what you expect for a typewriter with 117 years over her shoulders.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Ideal A3 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Ideal Serial Number page and the Ideal A3 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
