Description:
I bought this Beautiful Columbia Bar Lock typewriter from a fellow collector. This typewriter is currently the oldest in my collection. The machine is in good condition, only when the carriage is moved all the way to the left, the carriage wobbles in its guide. But other than that, this machine works quite well. I like this volt keyboard look like the Smith Premier. The machine has upright type levers in a semicircle in front of the roller like the "Franklin". The type levers hit two bars before hitting the roller, hence the name "bar lock".
