Description:
This was a remote auction purchase. Fortunately there were no missing parts, the case was in great shape, nothing broke during shipping, and the machine worked after some cleaning. I clearly need to make some adjustments before I attempt a novel on the DHIATENSOR keyboard.

I bought my first typewriter, an Imperial 50, in February 2026. I enjoyed the process of repairing it and cleaning it so much that I soon bought another. And another. Six months later I had 20 typewriters. I’ll need to quit my day job to keep up with these fun, interesting, challenging, satisfying and meditative projects. I’m especially interested in older machines from the experimental era of typewriter design.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Blickensderfer 7 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Blickensderfer Serial Number page and the Blickensderfer 7 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
