Description:
I guess this one would best be filed under (Brand) Empire (Germany) and (model) Empire. These were the first typewriters produced by Adler Fahrradwerke vorm. [vormals = formerly] Heinrich Kleyer Aktiengesellschaft. My current research indicates that some of the production was sold abroad under the „Adler“ brand as early as 1900, whereas all of the production was renamed Adler in 1901 (forthcoming).
