Description:
Model No. 3 with wide carriage (paper up to 14" with 12" writing line) begins January 1896 - before the No. 2, with new serial number series.
Model No. 3 machines were first built on No.1 frames and then at some point after the No. 2 is introduced, the No. 3 starts being built on No. 2 frames. The No. 3 was also made concurrently with later 4-row models.
No. 3 Serial Numbers known - Earliest: 1499, Latest: 2087
