Remington Sholes on the plate. Josh Dimora said this was a number 4. 1896 as the year is based on the comparison to the one that is already posted in the database, but I am not sure about this. I am posting photos of what looks like a ser no on the foot, but I am not able to make it out. Looks like maybe 82xx when I look from different angles with a light, but not clear. Greg Fudacz told me to look on the foot, otherwise I would have never found it.
