Yost 1 from the former Adler collection. A picture of this machine was featured in his famous book. The typewriter was well preserved in a custom made wooden box.

The Yost 1 was a blindwriter, so you had to lift up the platen to see what you wrote. Note the faceted platen.

This Yost 1 has red and white keys (double keyboard, no shift). Black and white keys were sold as well. They look more brittle than they are in reality.
