Quite nice Erika in good shape. This cost me 10 liters of diesel while driving to pick it up, a bargain even with European fuel prices I would say.
The owner told this Erika 60 was used by a local politician in a small town near Tampere, Finland, and has seem some use. Seems well maintained though, and came with cleaning tools. I bet the original owner was a Social Democrat, as East German exported products popular among SDP activcists back in the day, things like Wartburg cars, some cameras, and the typewriters. They were not bad, as the exported east block products were relatively good quality - at least when compared to domestic Soviet products.
This is the second late-model Erika I have, the other is mod. 53, and I like them both. The plastic cover is what it is, but these seem to be serious writing tools.
