Vicious cycle, I know. She was sold to a mother looking to gift her to her daughter for Christmas, so hopefully she'll cherish her more than I did.

The lovely handle and badge on the case. I have found that this handle is far more ergonomic than the ones on 6-series Smith-Corona cases, but maybe I'm just a lunatic. That is for YOU to decide.
