Spotted at a distance and at first thought it was a Blickensderfer! When I saw what it REALLY was, I couldn’t believe it!
It has a velvet lined case complete with handle, a operating manual, a price list, and some newspaper clippings about typewriters.

It was completely locked up and I was concerned, if I bought it, whether or not I could get it working. But once it was home, I coaxed the type wheel into motion and after some cleaning and lubrication, it works really well!

As I’ve read, the similarities between Blickensderfer and Hammond, are really interesting. I will say, in my opinion, there are good things about this combination.

According to the price list I got with the machine, this case was $3.50 back when the machine was new. The Model 3 itself was $25 acccording to the price list.
