Nice example of the Brother JP-5, re-badged for Sears. Plastic shell (very easy to take apart), but mechanically, very nice.

I put in some soundproofing felt to tame the sound to more pleasant levels, adjusted the type and passed it on to a girl who wants to "de=technologify" her life a bit. New typist in the ranks! (:
