Its bottom part was drenched in water inside its case for over a week following a nasty typhoon the other year that flooded the owner's private museum. She decided to give this to me to clean it up. Fortunately, the tropical heat quickly dried out the water inside the case. Still, despite soaking it in a diesel fuel, rust had already eaten into what would have been a hitherto pristine coat of paint.
