The Typewriter Database 1956 Everest K2 Serial # 553437 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Uwe Wachtendorf: 1956 Everest K2 Serial # 553437 Since it's Italian one has to assume that it was designed for the Vatican, because the K2 is so quiet that you could use it to type in a church. Or when mountaineering; unlike other machines that create a deafening clatter, the Everest won't start any avalanches. Buono. I like very much. As a bonus this used to belong to a fellow journalist, which makes it all the more special for me.
