Description:

A quirky but well-built machine, hard to find anywhere, the Calanda is a sturdy, solid portable with an uncommonly broad segment and widely spaced carriage rails. Other unusual features include a lever on the right of the carriage that you push as you move the carriage to adjust the left margin. The lever at the right end of the platen allows you to change the left margin by moving the carriage to the desired location. It activates the carriage release lever that is driectly above the knob. The paper release lever is the device with the angular end protruding from the back of the carriage.
