After I first caught the typewriter bug (or should I say, after I first SHARED about it publicly), my younger brother in Minneapolis bought this Royal 10 with the 14" carriage in Minneapolis, MN in 2015. He had it serviced, and lined the inside with orange LED lights (as I had blue ones in one of my early machines). When he moved in 2023, he bequeathed it to me. As I was told it had been serviced, I was amazed at how much cleaning it still needed. The nicotine was THICK on this one.
