1916 Oliver 9 Serial # 606312 1916 Oliver 9 typewriter, Serial # 606312 Reinier Verkleij's 1916 Oliver 9 typewriter. 2023-06-15 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Reinier Verkleij: 1916 Oliver 9 Serial # 606312 After looking for this typewriter for a long time, bidding endlessly on lots with nr 9's varying from pisspoor condition to worse, there was light at the end of the tunnel. A fellow collector, who is parting with his collection, offered to sell this fine looking example. As far as I can tell, all the bits and pieces are there. It works for about 90%(like many other pieces in my collection :) ). The margin release for the right margin doesn't appear to be working. The margin on the left works for the most part, only problem there is that it won't hold the adjusted margin once it passes the old margin. All keys look and work well, so does the tab function.
All decals are in very good condition. Quite colourful and bright as well, especially considering the age. Hopefully it comes across on camera.
