I play with mechanical typewriters, ink, and paper, and I am interested in what happens to thinking when tools demand touch, patience, and care. I collect and repair old machines, make poetry and graphic art, and enjoy the stubborn pleasures of analog tools. I am also a clinical psychologist and professor.
