17 Points, Typewriter Hunter
Greetings fellow typists,
A long time ago, my mother signed me up for a typewriting class, convincing me that it would have some effect on my future. Many adventures & decades later I had the odd fortune of meeting an elderly lady who was interested in my research & writing, and asked me if I would like to see her grandfather's typewriter. She had kept it in pristine condition - just like new, and wanted to give it to someone who would treasure it for another lifetime. Now here I am, about to write a book & also a bit curious if there are any ancient typewriters like this from the 1930's that flip out of a magical desk. We'll see....
My typewriter says 'Remington Rand' on it, so I put it in the 'Remington Rand' category - amazed that my typewriterseems to be the only 'Remington Rand' 16 in the world - and additionally, the only Remington affixed inside a 'hide away' desk. After looking through all the 'Remington' listed typewriters on this site, I noticed that most of them also have the 'Remington Rand' logo prominently shown on their typewriter, so either my typewriter is listed in the wrong category, or their typewriters are listed in the wrong category. Should I relist mine in the 'Remington' category, instead of the 'Remington Rand' category? Fellow typists, let me know your thoughts. In the meantime, enjoy the only 'Remington Rand' 16 typewriter in the world - with the added bonus of being in a magical 'hide away' desk.
