Between 1977 and 195, I curated the Carl P. Dietz Typewriter Collection at the Milwaukee Public Museum. My dissertation included a chapter on typewriter manufacturing. A few years ago, Carolyn and I donated our typewriter advertising and ephemera collection to the Hagley Library in Wilmington, DE. My Typewriter Disease is now in remission and I now suffer from chronic Steam Car Disease.
