First typewriter collected is an Underwood Universal Elliot Fisher Manual Portable with case. I have two, selling one. Maybe. It's HARD to let go! That's the first thing that I've noticed is how attached I feel to the typewriters I adopt. I'm Just getting started collecting,but already love these old heavy beautiful keepers of words. They matter. Great vibes, wonderful sounds... Changing the ribbon = not fun ;)
