0 Points, Typewriter Hunter

Hi! I've been interested in typewriters ever since I was a kid and fascinated with my Dad's Royal KMG. That big gray machine had plenty of knobs and levers to keep my young mind occupied for a long time. I went to college in the mid 80's, so I went in with a typewriter and came out with a computer.

A couple of years ago I ran across an IBM Selectric at an antique mall. That was the machine I learned to type on in high school. It's smooth typing and comfortable keyboard brought back a lot of memories. After that, I was hooked on finding more vintage typewriters.

I've got several machines in my collection now. So far, my favorite is my pre-war Royal Quite Deluxe. I look forward to finding out more info on this site and getting tips on restoring and repairing.
