I'm a 76-year-old former software engineer. For somewhat peculiar reasons I don't need to go into I got interested in collecting and refurbishing vintage typewriters several years ago, and I've amassed a small collection. Having spent a 45 year career avoiding hardware, and doing software, I am pleased to find that I actually have somewhat of a mechanical aptitude, and I'm really enjoying working on, and refurbishing these old machines.
