Researcher investigating the journey of Dave and Gary, two men on the road to co-creating Dungeons & Dragons, through their struggles, to hold on to what they created—including the people, events and games that shaped them. This leads to lots of typewritten material from 1960 to about 1976, with the need to identity which documents are written with the same machine and sometimes needing to know what make and model to help date the material.
