Inadvertent typewriter collector and restorer. I originally wished to have just one mechanical typewriter, but after finding an electric and a daisywheel in the trash outside my house, and spurred on by my daughters' interest in the mechanics of typing, I started to flesh out a small collection of five or six different machine types (standard, ultraportable, typebar electric, etc), which eventually turned into a much much larger collection. Video repair guides seemed to be very easy to absorb and internalize for me, and I now repair and then gift or resell destitute machines.
