Phoenix Typewriters is all about resurrecting dead typewriters and giving them new lives. Many of the units we find are considered lost causes, being advertised for parts or display. We clean and repair the units we find. We use updated materials wherever possible to replace broken pieces. This ensures even greater reliability and longevity. Where each machine has been improved will be in its description. We don't restore typewriters for collecting to display. We recommission typewriters intending that they see regular use and last another century.
