Born and raised in Pittsburgh, I started collecting typewriters over 10 years ago, though I used them growing up. The first typewriter I purchased as an adult collector is an L.C. Smith and Brothers No.2 that I found at a fleatique. The number of machines I own fluctuates from time to time, but I love the vintage portables an ultra-portables.
