I have been collecting typewriters for just a couple of years and have accumulated over thirty machines at this point. I tend to stick to portables from the 50's and the 60's but I do have a couple from the 40's and the 70's as well. I am a semi-retired chemist who spent my career working at several multi-national personal care companies, mainly in the quality area. In addition to typewriters, I like to spend my time with a camera in my hands or a couple of bike tires underneath me!
