Since my father gave me my first typewriter (Olympia SM9) when I was 10, I've been in love with the beauty and simplicity of these gorgeous machines. As a writer, they're also the best cure for the inevitable procrastination of surfing the web. Now I have over 35 and can't stop and have a particular passion for collecting machines that previous writers may have favored, like my Olivetti Lettera 32 that Cormack McCarthy used.
