0 Points, Typewriter Hunter
I'm a 60s-something bicycle shop owner and lover/collector of bicycles who came to collecting typewriters in the 2010s. It started when my mother gave me her father's 1931 Corona Standard, the first typewriter I ever touched. That was the extent of my "collection" until I saw California Typewriter, and my eyes were opened to how many wonderful and varied machines there were. Since then I've mostly focused on portables and ultraportables (which I didn't even know existed until I started collecting in earnest), but now and then a standard comes along that I just can't resist.
