I have owned a number of typewriters, the first being a Blickensderfer 7, with English keyboard, purportedly from 1897 according to Blick history. I've also owned an IBM Selectric, and still have a small Imperial portable, and a Smith-Corona portable electric with rotary type discs, but these days I mainly use computers.
