I have an elderly Carona typewriter that belonged to my grand Aunt Ruth Thompson Pringle who was born in 1915. She was a teacher and worked in many small communities in British Columbia. In later years she was a commerce teacher at Queen Elizabeth High in Vancouver, B.C. On the back painted in gold is the following:
