1 Points, Typewriter Hunter

G'day, I'm a typewriter nut living in Perth, Western Australia. I've been interested in typewriters for a few years, but only started collecting in early 2023. I thought it was time to bite the bullet and get stuck in. Coincidentally, my eldest sister-in-law had just listed a Spanish-built Lettera 32. I offered to buy it but she sent it over as a gift. It is immaculate and still has the best platen in my collection! I lost count of the number of pages I rattled off, but the small keycaps and spacebar led me to search for other styles for 'easier' (more accurate) typing and the rest is history as you'll see when you check out my galleries.
I work as an editor and proofreader of non-fiction manuscripts, which means I sit on front of a screen for most of the day. Typewriters, either working on them or writing with them, just make sense when it comes to switching off. I just need to build a workshop space!
