15 Points, Typewriter Hunter

Been passionate about mechanics and electronics for ages, and lately electronic music.

One day I collected a slightly broken synthesiser and the owner bundled it with a typewriter - it was to be my very first typewriter: a Royal Champion S ( a rebadged 1977 Triumph-Adler Gabriele).

After cleaning it and checking if it works (of course it does), I got very excited about these pure mechanical devices, and within a few weeks I started looking constantly for bargains on the local adverts, ending up with a couple more Adlers (Tippa and Contessa de Luxe) and an Olympia Traveller de Luxe - all sold as 'for spare or repairs' but apart from small niggles or a few bits dislocated during transport, all are still working fine.

And so the hunting began! The 1938 Smith Premier, the 1939 Erika S, etc - Easter Eggs all over the place ;-)
