Started using my grandmother's old 1961 Royal Royalite in college-skipped whenever I hit the spacebar, but managed 4 years of paper writing on it. I use my battered Hermes Rocket for field notes during inspections of nursery stock. Favorite among many is a 1971 Olympia SM9 that works right, every time.
