This is big, bigger than Selectrics though not heavier. Very unfortunate that I did not get a manual with it and have been unable to find one on the internet because without knowing the codes, I simply cannot control it. I can't even get it to change from triple linespacing. It does have an Olde English printwheel. Funny, the nostalgia for that old typeface in the electronic age, isn't it?

While I find all of mankind's inventions interesting, I am most enchanted by the human-scale arts and devices, the ones that can be created (and repaired) in a home workshop or studio; the ones that can be understood by looking at them; the ones that do something useful or stir admiration. Typewriters work for me.
