198X Agidel ПП-215-02 Serial # 129 198X Agidel ПП-215-02 typewriter, Serial # 129 Sergei Viktorovich's 198X Agidel ПП-215-02 typewriter. 2021-04-13 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Sergei Viktorovich: 198X Agidel ПП-215-02 Serial # 129 Agidel - one of the rarest Soviet typewriters. Almost no one knows about its existence, and those who know it, as a rule, have not seen it alive. Agidel was produced in Bashkiria in Ufa at the Ufa typewriters plant named after Communist International of Youth and was the last model produced there. The first prototype was released in 1980, at the same time there was a mention of the development of Agidel in self-help books on typewriting. Presumably, the production stopped in 1985, the number of produced typewriters is unknown (Agidel is extremely rare). This machine came to me from its homeland - from Ufa.
Structurally, the Agidel repeats the Triumph of the Gabriel model line (and it is also worth noting that in the mid - 70s in the USSR was produced another rare typewriter with a similar construction - Zeya, which differs from the Agidel only in the design of the body and case).
The Agidel case deserves special attention - it is a stylish leather bag with two zippers and a long adjustable strap that can be used both as a handle and as a shoulder strap.
