Description:
Possibly made in 1982 and used daily in a state-owned enterprise till 10/2015. Finally retired due to its notoriously poor condition, being replaced with a NOS 1990 Lyubava.
Tough keys, dangling return lever, no platen release, significantly unreliable mechanics, possibly no margin stops (haven't found them anywhere). But has a decimal tabulator and segment shifting.
In the early 1990s it was converted (see misatching black keytops) to the Russian/Ukrainian layout. "New" Ukrainian keys are sticking, but machine is dirty and other keys easily get stuck, too. Likely to make holes in paper because of rock-hard platen.
It was a really great day, when it retired for Lyubava.
UPD 10/31/2016: changed 1989 to 1982. This date is approximated from the two known production dates: 12/17/1976 for 771238 and 1/17/1979 for 944882.
