Bought from an eBay auction some time back, this typewriter has sustained some significant body damage along the way. It has clearly been dropped on one corner, which seems to have slightly deformed the frame so that the ribbon spool cover no longer fits correctly. It has also lost paint to wear on the right hand side. Nonetheless, it works very nicely!
I haven't been able to find another earlier Princess with a metal case like this one - they mostly seem to have that tan faux-leather case that's so typical of postwar German ultraportables. Any thoughts on this?
