Description:

Das ist meine Groma Mod. S aus dem Jahre 1939. Sie ist in einem relativ guten Zustand. Ich habe sie von einem Trödelhändler im Erzgebirge gekauft.

Diese Maschine wiegt, was man ihr vielleicht als Leihe nicht ansehen würde, ca 14,8kg, was sich aber durch den Guss-Rahmen erklären lässt. Das „S“ im Modellnamen steht hier für Setztabulator, welchen man an der rechten Seite der Maschine finden kann, das Foto dazu ist unten angehängt.

Ich finde die Maschine sehr toll, meiner Meinung nach hat sie einen sehr guten Tastendruck, alles in allem also das perfekte Arbeitstier auf dem Schreibtisch. An Lackschäden ist mir bis jetzt noch nichts unter das Auge gekommen, außer eine kleine Abnutzung im Bereich der Sastatur, was aber völlig normal ist.

Hello, my name is Tim Rippl and I am from Germany. I have been collecting typewriters for about a year and a half and currently have eight machines in my collection. My collection mainly focuses on German manufacturers, but I also have a American typewriter.

What fascinates me most about typewriters is their technology, history, and the many different ways in which they were designed and constructed. In my opinion, old typewriters are a great example of how creative and resourceful people could be when working with relatively simple technical means. Every machine has its own history and character, and that is what makes collecting them so interesting to me.

I look forward to continuing to expand my collection and learning more about the history and technology behind these fascinating machines.
