Description:
A nice yard sale find, with decimal tabs up to 1 million and commas in the decimal tab row. Havenāt yet figured out how they work. Decent example, complete and most of the middle keys stuck solid. Proprietary Royal ribbon spools. The glass in the single window sides is clear.
Fixed the keys; it types pretty well now.

While I find all of mankind's inventions interesting, I am most enchanted by the human-scale arts and devices, the ones that can be created (and repaired) in a home workshop or studio; the ones that can be understood by looking at them; the ones that do something useful or stir admiration. Typewriters work for me.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal K on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal K By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
