This this type cylinder is designed for check assurance, hence its german name "Schecksicherung".
Just arrived home yesterday, needs a ribbon change, and after that I will put a typeface sample.
This make of typewriter makes the delight of everyone of my home visitors. Usually they never have seen a Mignon typewriter before (we already know they were common eighty years ago, as happens with other index typewriter gone long time ago).
Always well cared, it retains the original box, the original key, and you can smoothly close and open the lock.
