1961 Adler Junior E

Serial #1617319

Another machine offered as a payment for work with Equipping the Saints. This is a machine only a writer could love, with sloppy Sharpie writing on the ribbon cover, which came mostly off, and also on the platen knobs, which didn't really come off. Might continue to work on it, but it will never been a looker with the missing front plate. It does however type quite well, except for an odd shifting quirk due to some bits being bent. Easy to work around. With the hard metal case this is a perfect machine for an adventure. I like to use it, but I am not so so attached, and am willing to take this machine exciting interesting places where it is possible it could get damaged or lost. Everybody needs a machine like that.

Also, of note to anyone who has never seen one of these in person, though they totally look plastic in pictures they are actually a very nice, solid smooth metal. The ribbon cover and paper tray too.
